Washington State-Wide Open House in Pullman WA

I am getting ready to participate in our Washington State-Wide Open House Weekend. Realtors all over our great state are participating opening doors all over our state June 27-28 to get those buyers in to see all the wonderful homes we have in our individual cities in all kinds of price ranges.  What a wonderful effort by our Realtors both state wide and in our individual cities including mine, Pullman Washington!!!!


According to Greg Wright the 2009 President of  the WASHINGTON REALTORS, there will be over 4,000 REALTOR open houses in our first State-wide open house weekend.  The press on this is great and must might give our state a marketing boost.  

What a great time to look!  Interest rates are still low, homes prices have great value and there is a first time home buyer's federal tax credit for $8,000 if you haven't owned a home for the past 3 years!!!

I am proud to say that in Whitman County there will be over 50 houses open.       There is a charge in the air and I know I am personally looking forward to participating in this historic event!  Yesterday we received special REALTOR balloons that will fly proudly all over Pullman.  Come by, I and see all the great homes we have in Pullman.  I would love to see you!  My open house will be at:

Pullman WA Real Estate ~ Relocating to Pullman

The last few days have been such a joy as I have been helping a client in their relocation needs as they move to Pullman.  As a REALTOR, I love helping people find that perfect house that says home.  It is even more enjoyable to help people who come from all over our nation to explore and settle into our part of Washington State.


Pullman Washington is home to Washington State University.  So we have many people from all walks of life relocate to Pullman providing a wonderful rich and diverse community.  I personally find it so rewarding to help someone from miles away come to our community and show them what our great community is all about.  

We are very fortunate in Pullman. We are surrounded by the beautiful rolling hills of the Palouse as you can see in this beautiful picture courtesy of Robert and Eric Tetzlaff.  So if you love outdoor activities - whether it be biking, hiking, fishing, skiing - you will love our beautiful corner of the Pacific Northwest.  We also enjoy so many wonderful benefits of hosting Washington State University.  Being a college town there is always lots of activity.  So grab your Coug gear and head off to a game!  Hope to see you there!!!  GO COUGS!

Pullman Washington is uniquely situated in the rolling hills of a unique area of the country called the Palouse. This little piece of paradise is a result of the soft silt that was blown in from the glacial out wash during the last ice age according to scientists. The result is fertile hills of wheat, lentil, barley, peas and canola as far as the eye can see.  Situated in the middle of this wonderful paradise is Washington State University, home of the Washington State Cougars...Go Cougs!

Today is going to be one of those special days....I can just tell!  The skies are blue and the birds are chirping!  I am really looking forward to this afternoon!  I am taking two different buyers to look at real estate in the Pullman Washington area!   Today will entail checking out both homes and land in and around Pullman.  There is definitely energy in the air!

These last few weeks have been loaded with lots of showings both in Whitman County and Latah County.  My buyers have been looking at everything  from homes to town homes to land and fixer uppers too!  It has been a blast helping people both relocate to our area, as well as helping clients that are both old and new. And to top it off, Thursday I just listed a wonderful home!  It has been busy, busy, busy!   I am off to get ready for my day...wishing you all a wonderful day too!!!!
