 This simple idea sets the nice stage for a first impression.  I just picked up a tray for wet shoes and filled it with 5 bags of washed and polished stones.  Then set the stage with a little prompt to remind your buyers to remove their shoes.

It will not only keep people from tracking through the home, it will keep the front door area nice and dry.
