Living in the Pullman Washington we are right next door to Moscow Idaho. We are fortunate not only to enjoy the benefits of Washington State University here in Pullman, but also the University of Idaho right next door in Moscow.
One of the things I enjoy doing is taking a ride in the country. I guess it is my Dad in me that enjoys the elbow room, but I love getting out and enjoying the sights and abundant wildlife.
The other evening I made a trip to nearby Troy Idaho. I was driving on Spring Valley Road and pulled off on a side road to admire the beauty of the below picture. Can you guess what birds those are in the distance? I know they are a bit far off...but they ran like the dickens when I got out of the car, camera in hand.
Well...here is a hint...I bet they don't know Thanksgiving is approaching or they would be hiding!
