City of Pullman Cougar Plaza

Saturday marked the 2009 Graduation Commencement for Washington State University.  Congratulations to all those who graduated!

The city of Pullman was packed full of proud Cougars in their caps and gowns, many of which posed in the City of Pullman Square to have their photo snapped.  It was a beautiful day and the beginning of new horizons for many WSU graduates.

I would like to wish a special congrats Addy Hink and Tanya Guseva!  These two lovely ladies have been receptionists at Richard's Hair Studio, my husband's hair salon for several years now.   We will miss you so much!  All of us wish you every wonderful thing in life!!!

WooHoo!  Congrats to all of your graduates!  Isn't college town living awesome?!  I lived in one before I moved to Charlotte (when I was in college, of course) and thought I'd NEVER leave!  Great small town feel and just so exciting during the seasonal sports and graduation times of the year.

Great job by all the WSU graduates and your nod to them and the special ones in your life. College graduations are momentous times.

Jim:  It is exciting to see them begin on their life journey!

Debe: I too love the college town life.  The kids keep us young and love all the benefits such as sports and events around the university.  We are extra fortunate as just 10 minutes away we have the University of Idaho as well...so two cities side by side both university towns!

Gary:  Yes, College graduations are certainly a milestone...and to be celebrated!

Sheldon:  Thanks!  It is so fun to see them accomplish their goals and head out to chase their dreams.

Sharon:  Yes, it is exciting...and so fun when we hear back from them.  I remember we had one receptionist who worked at the hair salon call one day and say, "guess what I am doing?"  She was shampooing her little girl's hair and thought of us...it touched us so.
