Going Green In Pullman WA ~ Pullman's Farm Fresh Market

Going green has become the new buzz word.  We all want to do what we can to protect our environment and at the same time support our local community, right? There are little things that you can do everyday to go green!   A great place to start going green is in the kitchen.  Here is a great video that has some great ways you can go green in your kitchen.  

 

 

Number one on the list is buying local organic produce!  This year Pullman began it's own Fresh Farm Market.   Here lots of local business men and women gather to sell their wares, all of which are the cream of the crop! Our farmer's market takes place in the parking lot of the Old Post Office Wine Gallery which is located at 245 SE Paradise and runs from 4:30 to 6:30.

 

 

 This is a great community event and a great way to pick up fresh local produce, fresh baked naturally leavened breads by the Panhandle Artisan Breads (mmm...my favorite), and beautiful plants for your garden...all at great prices. Come out and support our local farmers and vendors in Pullman Washington and the surrounding areas.   And of course, it is a great opportunity to see neighbors and friends.  Here are some pictures as vendors were setting up tonight at 4:30.  The market will take place throughout October.  Come check it out!
