Today is an absolutely beautiful day in Pullman Washington. The skies are blue and temperature is a wonderful 58 degrees as we approach the noon hour.
Today I had a momentary break as I am waiting for some paperwork...it caused me to drift to another day just last year. My family and I took a wonderful hike around Kamiak Butte for Mother's Day last year.
Kamiak Butte is just about 20 minutes north of Pullman and one of my favorite places to go. There is wonderful hiking trail that makes a complete circle. Beautiful trees line the way to the top of the butte and when you get to the top you enjoy beautiful wildflowers in Spring and a wonderful view of the Palouse year round.
Here is a quick video I put together of that day and some of the pictures we took. Enjoy!

Lori
I often think a nature trail lends for people to talk about anything; my son and i have some of our best discussions just walking through them.
Hi Lori - What a fun day you had! The best part of spring is a renewed desire to get out there and enjoy!
Tom ~ So true! And such cherished times too!
Debi ~ I agree completely! We are having a wonderful few days of beautiful weather. I think I will try to get out today for a bit!
