Carolyn Capalbo is a respectable, professional Realtor® in Northern Virginia. Unfortunately, her reputation is being hijacked by another Carolyn Capalbo who has been in the news. When you google her name, pictures of the other Carolyn Capalbo as well as other sites pop up. When a prospective client googles Carolyn's name, some are getting confused and associate her with the Carolyn in the news. It's not the case!!!
I encourage you to to google the phrase Carolyn Capalbo and see how Carolyn's good reputation is being hijacked on google.Now here's what you can do to help.....

I received a call from a prospective Seller yesterday. Her co-worker gave her my name and she had collected a few other Realtor's names. She Googled my name and read about my situation. When she called me to discuss her home, she chuckled about the other Carolyn Capalbo and marveled about how an entire Real Estate community would rally behind one of its own. I asked her what she would have done if she only saw the other Carolyn Capalbo, she said she didn't know if she would have called me since she had other Realtors to consider. Thank you for making it clear that there are more than one Carolyn Capalbos out there! It looks highly likely that I will work with this Seller. That certainly would not have happened if she called someone else instead! Thanks again for all your help and support!

Lori - And who would have thought that there would even be another Carolyn Capalbo - it's not exactly a common name.
I always have that fear about coming across someone with the exact same name; but I figure my last name is spelled so unsual it's highly unlikely!
My heart sure goes out to this Realtor®. That is why I wanted to spread the word.
Things like this are not as rare as they may seem, Lori. I can definitely relate.
Two years ago, my wife received a call early in the morning accusing her of being married to a child molester.
Apparently someone with the same name as me was convicted of such...but had the person making the call done their research, they would have known that the person in question is also 20 years older, and lives in another part of the state...talk about being annoyed...and the potential for one's good name being besmirched...thank God that I was able to have the situation handled...
