Living in Pullman, I am always amazed at wonderful places that are nearby that we can enjoy in both Washington and Idaho within just a few mintues drive.
I have many favorite places that I like to go. I was raised in the Lewiston Clarkston Valley which borders both Washington and Idaho, as does Pullman and Moscow.
So being born and raised in Lewiston and Clarkston, both the Clearwater River and the Snake River flowing against the majestic bluffs remind me of home. They always take me back to a wonderful time in my life growing up. And I love the feel of the warm breeze that blows up the canyon in Summer.
Please enjoy this picture that I took on one of those recent afternoons when we grabbed the picnic basket and the camera! And if you haven't explored Washington & Idaho I would suggest you do! And don't forget the camera!

Lori You say you grabbed the picnic basket and camera. Hpe you didn't forget the fishing pole
Hi Lori, We lived on Ft. Lewis, WA, for 2 years. I could see Mt. Rainier out my kitchen window and we did lots of sightseeing while we were there. Lovely.
Hi Lori, I love this particular font-what is the name of it? Very nicely composed and I really enjoyed the photo of Snake River Bluffs. I could feel what you were expressing about the location, the breeze and the day you took this.
Art ~ I leave the fishing gear up to the hubby...he never forgets!
Shirley ~ Glad you were able to take full advantage of your stay at Fort Lewis.
William ~ The font is Papyrus. Glad you enjoyed!
What a wonderful way to promote your area.
I'm with Art, I'd have to take my fishing gear.. along with that picnic basket.
Very beautiful.
Judi,
THank you so much! And absolutely bring the gear. The fishing in our area is great!
Hi Lori! You take the most beautiful photos of your experiences! I felt like I was there feeling that warm breeze too--wish I were!
Hope you have a terrific Thursday...
Debe,
