Pullman will be having it's very own dog park! What a great asset to our local community! We have the land, we just need some necessities such as fencing, irrigation and landscaping to make this become a reality for Pullman.
Want to help? Animal Haven is sponsoring Mutt Strutt September 18th 2010 at Sunnyside Park. It will be fun for both you and your four legged friend as you walk the course and enjoy music and fun activities along the way.
In order to participate go to whitmanpets.org/muttstrutt to register. Gather some pledges and set your calendar for September 18th. Before long our four legged Pullman residents will have a place to call their own.
Of course, I couldn't possibly write out doggies without including a picture of my little Chewbacca....I am sure he will love such a great asset for Pullman....

Dog parks are not only great for us, they are great for our dogs. Just like people the more they interact with other dogs, the better their social skills become. They really do learn from other dogs on how they are supposed to behave.
Lori - Awww, little "Chewie" will love it when it is completed! Dog parks are a great place for doggies and their owners. People with common interests get to meet. Great plan for Pullman and I love the title Mutt strutt- cute!
Lori, It sounds like a place that our Mutt would love. We truly have a Mutt. We got him from our local Golden Rescue but it was his cute Golden face that got him in the rescue. We think he is part Golden and part Border Collie. He has a Golden face and coloring with a border collie body.
Lori, I wish we had a dog park nearby! There is one but you have to pay for it. Our Otto does socialize and we have a great place to run near the house which is an overflow parking lot for a boat ramp, but it would be great to have a real park for him!
Todd ~ Maybe that is the solution to the worlds problems...we need to go to human parks to learn how to interact better... :)
Nevin ~ Thanks...my chewie is a cutie...I am not sure if he would really be a good socialite...he thinks he is pretty much the only doggie on the face of the earth... :)
Marchel ~ He sounds adorable...I once use to have a sheltie...so the collie is near and dear to my heart...I love mutts...mine is too. He is a muchkin which is a Yorkie and Shitzu mix...
Sharon ~ Is your dog a sheltie...Looks like it to me! I had one and know they LOVE to run...and herd anything...especially the little folks to "keep them safe."
