Motivation...The Key to Selling and Buying that Pullman Washington Home...

Real Estate like all professions has it's own vocabulary such as CMA'S (comparative market analysis), Offers, Counter Offers, Contingencies Etc.  These are all pretty easy and straight forward to understand.  Others not so easy, and certainly navigating through a contract  from mutual acceptance to closing is an entirely different story!

Motivation of buyers and sellers Pullman WA

But there is another word that I find the essential ingredient necessary for a successful closing.  MOTIVATION.  And it is more necessary than ever in today's Real Estate Market. And although our Pullman Washington Market is stronger than many other market places in our country, it is still vital for both Buyers and Sellers.

With Sellers, motivation may seem more obvious.  What is a Motivated Seller you may ask?  Again, each market place is different, but I will address the Motivated Seller in our Pullman Real Estate Market.

There are many aspects but let's start with the all important one...PRICE.  The days of putting your home on the market to see what happens is over here.  You need to price your home to be IN the market not ON the market.  Pricing your home well is certainly key.  But quite frankly, there are lots of nicely priced homes out there so you not only need to Price to Sell, but you need to have your home looking its very best!

Follow your Realtor's® advice to put it's best foot forward.  It is true, you only get once to make that all important first impression...and I can tell you firsthand that it happens very quickly...within minutes a buyer knows if they are keeping this on their short list or scratching it off.  A Motivated Seller will do their part to make their home stand above the rest.

What about a Motivated Buyer?  That might seem odd to many, but necessary.   Look, buying a house is a major step.  And I will be honest with you, getting pre-qualified is easy, but going through the financing process is stressful.  Not to mention navigating through the offer, counter offer, inspection process etc.   It takes someone who has set their eye on the Prize of Home Ownership to stay focused throughout the process.

I have been fortunate this year in the Pullman Washington Real Estate Market.  I have helped both Sellers Sell their Homes....and Buyers Buy a new Home....and with each and every one I have seen the common element of Motivation as the glue that binds it all together.

And I am sure you might wonder what is my motivation?  Of course, the obvious one is this is my chosen profession and the means of helping to support my family.  But for those of you that know me at know it goes much deeper than that.  I Like Helping People.  Period.  It is my nature to do what I can for others.  Real Estate is my way of helping others in a realm I truly enjoy.  And I count myself fortunate indeed as Thanksgiving approches.  I  have had the honor to work with some really great folks this year.  For them, thisPullman Realtor
® is truly Thankful....

Happy Thanksgiving Lori Cofer, Realtor

Good points, Lori. When motivation fades, deals come undone. Everyone has to keep their eye on what they wanted in the first place.

That is absolutely the key to buying or selling a home, MOTIVATION.  That is what drives the sale and makes people more reasonable.
