If you are thinking of building a new home, you most likely you have a vision of what your new home will look like.  This article touches on just a few of today's trends in building.

open floor plan, Pulllman WA Real Estate Today's trends are toward open floor plans and spacious kitchens.  Gone are the days of compartmentalized rooms.  The new generation of homes have a flow from room to room providing both large areas for gatherings and private spaces.

Hi Lori!  GREAT post!  I do love the older traditional homes but, the new open floorplans and fab kitchens is what I want to actually live in!

I think I can learn a lot from you on how to use pictures in a post...makes it very easy to read.  It is so important to have a realtor in a new build process.  I love the signs that say "New Homes from $180,000" and then to get a door knob, a light in a bedroom, a cabinet not made out of cardboard, etc...you pay over $200,000.  We need to be there to bring reality to the buyer who walks through the model and thinks that is what the $180,000 buys!

Cindy,
Thanks so much for your comments...they are truly appreciated!  Building a home is a very large investment and a REALTOR is not only your advocate in the process but also can help you keep an eye for resale in mind...
